We've been ploughing full-steam-ahead for the last two months and have a lot to share about our progress in this Dev Log!

5 weeks left in our biggest community project ever
The Project Lighthouse Community Challenge is well under way, with over 75 assets already submitted, some of which have just been published!
There's still plenty of time left if you'd like to join in and help us work on our debut game :)
Lighthouse Under Construction
The actual Project Lighthouse game is making great progress as well. Almost all of the levels have been blocked out and tested to some extent, and we're in the process of pulling it all together. The current developmen goal is to build a focused horizontal slice to start testing the overall flow of the game, along with pacing and narrative.
On the art side of things, of course the community project is a big part of that, but we've also been working on the environments for some time and building out modular kits to reuse throughout the levels.
For the first time, we're actually sort of on track!
Beach HDRIs
Speaking of being on track, the Beach HDRI vault is completely captured and the other half of the team are spending most of their days stitching.
We were aiming for 30-50 HDRIs in total, but Dario and Jenelle ended up capturing over 100 during their two trips!
Some of these 100 HDRIs are duplicates, captured at the same place around the same time, so we can pick the best one to publish.
Some are not actually related to the beach vault at all, being more opportunistic and unrelated environments that we'll publish as soon as they're processed, outside the vault.
And some of them are actually for a completely different vault...
Aerial HDRIs
One of the goals of Jenelle's beach trip was also to start capturing some drone HDRIs for the Aerial Vault and stress-test her custom DJI app that facilitates the process.
There are still some kinks to iron out, but it's already clear we can definitely complete this project and hope to have the vault released later this year :)
It's taken Jenelle about 4 months of full time work - on and off since June last year - to get to this point, which wouldn't have been possible without your support here on Patreon. We literally could not have done it without you guys, so thanks a bunch!
That's all for now folks!
By the time I write our next Dev Log, the Community Project will be completed and the Beach Vault released!
And there might even be another little suprise for you patrons too...
See you soon <3
