As you probably know, some time ago, I put out a little challenge. There were still three slots in the guild to be filled with members, intentionally left "empty" for the express purpose of creating this interaction/challenge. I originally gave y'all a week, but uhhhh... the deadline got extended a bit due to time issues. Anyway, I've read through all the submissions, carefully evaluated all the characters in terms of how they fit into the story, the guild, and how well they mesh with Gary. Here are the three characters I'll eventually write into the story, in order of submission:
Created by Phlosioneer: Rodney, the T6 fanged verminoid.
Created by Joe: Samuel, the T7 Auric Stone Troll.
Created by Matthias: Crystal, the T6 Veilfang Feline.
All three characters have interesting personalities, little to no overlap with other guild members, and fill a role in the guild that isn't already filled. Congratulations to you three, I really like these. As for the others, no submissions were inherently bad, but rather either didn't vibe with me, or felt too plain. If anybody would like feedback on why exactly I didn't pick their character, feel free to ask.
