NOTE: There's a little smut in the middle.

--

Chloe's eyes stayed fixed on Nick inside the cruiser, and the conflict in them became more obvious with every passing second.

“You want to talk to him, don’t you?” Lucifer asked as he stepped closer beside her. “Well, go on, then. What’s stopping you? The rules? Detective Douche? If you desire something, simply take it.”

Before Chloe could respond, Lucifer turned away and walked toward the police car with the confidence of a man who had never considered locked doors a meaningful obstacle.

Chloe followed him several steps before realizing what he intended. “Lucifer, what are you doing?”

Lucifer reached the rear passenger door and pulled the handle. The lock clicked open beneath his fingers, and the door swung outward before the uniformed officer standing nearby could react.

“Hello there, little parasite,” Lucifer said with a pleasant smile.

Nick barely had time to look up before Lucifer grabbed the front of his shirt and dragged him from the back seat. Nick grunted as his knees struck the pavement, and Lucifer hauled him upright before placing him against the side of the cruiser.

The officer took one step forward, but Chloe raised her badge and gave him a look that made him hesitate. She knew this was completely improper, though the anger she had carried toward Nick for years was already pushing every sensible objection aside.

Chloe walked closer until she stood directly in front of him. “You finally did it, Nick. You finally wanted a photograph so badly that you killed someone.”

Nick’s face twisted with outrage while he struggled against Lucifer’s grip. “I didn’t kill anybody!”

“You’ve followed people into hospitals, private homes, funerals, and rehabilitation clinics,” Chloe continued as old resentment sharpened every word. “You’ve ruined lives because someone’s misery happened to be worth a few thousand dollars. This time, you crossed the final line, and you’re not getting away with it. I’m going to make sure of that.”

Nick stopped struggling for a moment and stared at her. Recognition moved across his face, followed by the faint beginnings of a smile that made Chloe want to hit him.

“I remember you,” Nick said. “You’re the cop’s daughter from that funeral.”

Chloe’s jaw tightened so hard that Lucifer felt the change beside him.

Nick’s expression lost its amusement when Lucifer’s fingers closed more firmly around his collar. “Vale was already dead when I found him. The lights went out, and I used my phone flashlight to move around. I saw him beside the pool when the light crossed his body.”

Chloe stepped closer, refusing to let the funeral comment distract her from the case. “Then why were you searching his jacket when Alexandra found you?”

Nick looked away from her.

“What were you looking for on Marcus Vale’s body?” Chloe asked again.

Nick pressed his lips together and remained silent.

Lucifer sighed with theatrical disappointment and glanced toward Chloe. “Since we’re rather tight on time, do you mind if I give it a twirl?”

Chloe should’ve stopped him. She knew that clearly, though she also knew Lucifer has a way to make people talk.

She stepped aside without giving him permission aloud.

Lucifer smiled and turned Nick’s face toward him. “Tell me, dung beetle, what is it you truly desire?”

Nick tried to pull away, though the moment his eyes met Lucifer’s, the resistance drained from his body. His breathing slowed, and the anger in his expression dissolved beneath something greedy and desperate.

"I... I..." Nick tried to resist to his last wisp of will.

"Yes, go on. Tell me," Lucifer pressed on with his smile while maintaining eye contact.

“I wanted Vale’s phone,” Nick confessed.

Chloe’s eyes narrowed as she moved closer. “Why would you risk getting caught beside a dead body for somebody’s phone?”

Nick swallowed as the words continued pouring out. “Vale had everything on that thing. Messages, private emails, secret contacts, photographs from parties that were never supposed to happen. The guy slept with so many models and newcomers and made sex tapes.”

Lucifer’s eyebrows lifted with genuine interest. “Now that does sound like an entertaining little device.”

Nick continued staring into Lucifer’s eyes while years of bitterness spilled through the opening. “My career’s been dying. Celebrities have private security now, and every idiot with a phone thinks he’s a photographer. I needed something huge, something nobody else could get.”

“So you planned to steal Marcus Vale’s phone and expose whatever you found,” Chloe said.

Nick nodded without hesitation. “Celebrity sex tapes, affairs, drug deals, private messages, anything controversial enough to sell. Given Vale’s reputation, that phone could’ve put me back on top. I could’ve released everything slowly and kept the stories going for months.”

Chloe stared at him with open disgust. “A man was lying dead in front of you, and your first thought was how much money you could make from his phone.”

Nick blinked as Lucifer released the hold of his power. Awareness rushed back into his face, and panic followed when he realized what he had admitted.

“I didn’t kill him,” Nick said quickly. “I’m an asshole, and I know that, but I didn’t kill Vale.”

A familiar voice interrupted from behind them before Chloe could answer.

“What the hell are you doing?”

Dan strode toward them with two officers following close behind. His attention moved from the open police car to Nick pressed against its side, then settled on Lucifer with growing disbelief.

“Neither one of you is supposed to be here,” Dan said as he pointed toward Chloe. His finger shifted toward Lucifer. “Especially you.”

Lucifer laughed softly and released Nick’s shirt. “You always know how to make a man feel welcome, Detective Ex.”

Dan stepped between them, grabbed Nick by the arm, and pushed him toward the cruiser. “Get back inside before I add resisting arrest to everything else.”

Nick stumbled into the back seat while protesting that he hadn’t killed anyone. Dan shut the door firmly and checked the lock before turning toward Chloe.

“This is exactly why I told you to go home,” Dan said. “You can’t drag suspects out of police cars when you're off duty.”

Chloe folded her arms while watching Nick through the window. “He admitted he was searching for Vale’s phone.”

"We found the phone. And once again, Chloe. Let me handle it," Dan said. He then walked back inside, and the officer in uniform drove the car away.

Chloe watched the police car pull away from the curb with Nick still shouting from the back seat. She released a tired breath while the taillights disappeared beyond the resort gates.

"You hate that dung beetle. Are you really gonna try and prove his innocence?" Lucifer asked.

"I’m gonna find out who really killed Vale," She replied with a serious expression.

...

[Later that night] [Lucifer's penthouse]

Lucifer gripped Maze's hips tighter as he thrust into her from behind. The cool night air of the penthouse balcony brushed against their skin, but neither of them cared. Maze leaned forward over the railing, her hands wrapped around the metal bar. Her body rocked with each powerful stroke.

"Fuck, Lucifer. Harder," Maze growled, her voice low and demanding. She pushed back against him, meeting every thrust. The silver butt plug in her ass caught the light with each movement, adding that extra spark of wickedness she loved.

They had been fucking for an hour or so and somehow ended up on the balcony.

Lucifer chuckled, his hands spreading her firm cheeks wider so he could watch his cock slide deep into her wet pussy. "Always so impatient, my dear Mazikeen. You take me so well like this. Does the little demon need more?"

"Shut up and give it to me," she shot back, though a wicked grin crossed her face. "Or are you getting soft on me after all these centuries?"

That earned her a sharp slap on the ass and a deeper thrust that made her moan. Lucifer leaned over her, his chest pressing against her back as he picked up the pace. "Soft? Never. I could fuck you like this until the sun comes up, and you would still beg for another round."

Maze laughed breathlessly, her knuckles white on the railing. "Promises, promises. Just don't stop, you arrogant prick."

He straightened up again, one hand sliding around to rub her clit while the other held her waist. The dual sensation had Maze see stars. "Yes. Right there. Don't you dare slow down."

Lucifer's rhythm grew relentless, the sound of their bodies slapping together echoing softly into the night. Maze's breaths came faster, her body tensing as pleasure built inside her.

"Lucifer... I'm close."

"Then come for me, darling," he urged, his voice smooth and commanding.

With a sharp cry, Maze came hard. Her pussy clenched around his cock, waves of pleasure ripping through her. She shook against the railing, her legs trembling.

Lucifer pulled out slowly, his shaft glistening with her juices. Maze turned and dropped to her knees in front of him without hesitation. He grabbed the back of her head and pushed his sloppy cock into her throat.

She took him deep, choking slightly as he thrust forward.

"That's it. Swallow everything," he groaned.

Lucifer came hard, spilling down her throat. Maze coughed and gagged around him but swallowed every drop, her eyes locked on his with that fierce, satisfied gleam.

"You need a break?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Hell no," Maze said as she licked her lips.

..

[Morning]

The morning light filtered through the large windows of the penthouse. Maze lay sprawled on the floor, her body glistening and covered in dried and fresh cum from their long night. They had fucked until the early hours, moving from the balcony to the couch, then finally to the floor in a heated frenzy that left both of them spent.

Lucifer stood near the bar, his back to her as he poured himself a glass of scotch. Maze watched the firm lines of his ass with appreciation. She ran her hands over her chest, rubbing his cum across her tits in slow circles. 'There's something different about him lately. The way he fucks me... Mhmm~ Every time with him feels like my first time.' Her fingers found her nipples and twisted them hard, sending little sparks of pleasure through her sore body.

"So, you're going to help the detective again?" she asked, her voice husky but still sharp.

"Yes," Lucifer replied simply, without turning around.

Maze smirked and let out a low laugh. "You're getting soft, Lucifer."

Lucifer turned around slowly. His cock was still erect, standing proud as he held the glass of scotch in one hand. "Am I?"

He took a sip of the drink, his eyes roaming over her cum-smeared form with clear hunger.

Maze licked her lips and spread her legs a little wider on the floor, challenging him with her gaze. "Prove me wrong then, Devil."

...[A few hours later]...

After a long, hot shower together that left the bathroom steamy and filled with the scent of expensive soap, Maze slipped into her usual leather outfit. She ran her fingers through her damp hair and glanced back at Lucifer with a smirk.

"Inventory downstairs needs checking. Try not to start another apocalypse while I am gone," she said.

Lucifer gave her a lazy wave from the couch. "No promises, darling."

Maze headed down to Lux, leaving the penthouse quiet once more.

Lucifer stood and walked over to the fruit bowl. He picked up a shiny red apple and held it in his palm. He tossed it lightly in the air. "Feels weird that I don't feel hungry anymore." He caught it smoothly, then tossed it again. Time slowed around him as the apple hung suspended. He sighed deeply. "Bloody hell."

Amenadiel appeared behind him, his expression stern. "Brother, I am disappointed in you."

Lucifer turned, still holding the frozen moment. "What? It is called a devil's sex marathon for a reason."

Amenadiel shook his head. "You were once the brightest of all of God's angels, Lucifer. And now, look at you."

Lucifer opened his arms. "I look at myself every day, brother. I'm hot, powerful, better looking than you, better sense of clothing, and, last but not least, I have fun every single day. So, if you’ve come to lecture me, you're wasting your time and mine."

"Actually, I am here with an offer," Amenadiel said.

"Really?" Lucifer raised an eyebrow.

"Go back to Hell, Lucifer, and I will speak to Father."

Lucifer's expression shifted to amusement mixed with defiance. "You are scared, are you not? That if I do not go back to Hell, you are going to have to take over."

"Oh, that would never happen," Amenadiel shot back.

"Oh, no, no, I mean, it is not like God sent his favorite son to reign over Hell before, is it?" Lucifer mocked. "Oh, wait. Sorry. Forgot. So you can take your ultimatum and shove it up your feathered hole."

Amenadiel stepped closer, his voice serious. "You cannot see it yet, can you?"

"What is that?" Lucifer asked.

"You saved human lives, Luci. And not for any selfish reasons. No, you did it simply because you cared about them. Your time here on Earth is affecting you, dear brother. You’re changing."

"You have no idea what's going on here, do you? When was the last time you had a little chat with our dear father?" Lucifer asked with a smile.

Amenadiel flinched at Lucifer's words, wondering why he would say such a thing. It had been centuries since their father had spoken with any of his children. If their father wanted to talk, give a task, or offer guidance, he would certainly choose Amenadiel, not Lucifer, a rebellious fallen angel banished from Heaven. Amenadiel believed he was the favorite son ever since Lucifer's fall. In his mind, he couldn't fathom their father reaching out to Lucifer; his pride simply wouldn't allow it.

"He reached out to you?" Amenadiel asked, looking really angry and confused at the same time.

"Yes... Huh! Fascinating," Lucifer said. "I love that expression on your face, brother. Feeling jealous? Want to rip me apart? Go ahead, try it. See what happens."

"You're lying."

"You know I do not lie."

Amenadiel's face twitched as he was lost for words. Too many questions ran through his mind: 'Why did Dad reach out to Lucifer, not me?' 'What did they talk about?' 'Why didn't he give me any signal that he had already spoken to Lucifer?' 'Lucifer never lies. If so, what's the reason behind sending him to Earth to convince Lucifer to return to hell?' 'I saw the sign. Dad wants him back in hell. Did I make a mistake in reading his sign?'

Without another word, Amenadiel disappeared.

Time started to flow again and Lucifer caught the apple. He walked over to the balcony and looked up at the sky. "Don't worry. He's gonna learn empathy, humility, and to break free from blind obedience and find his own moral compass. But Linda is mine. Find someone else for him."

Note: This is it for Silver tier. Next, Gold & above will get new chs. After the total quota is completed, I'll start unlocking the chapters.

I know many won't be happy, but I need to give something to the higher tiers, considering they aren't getting much out of the membership with Modern Family being available for all tiers.
