This release accompanies my Youtube video into Stygia, the fifth layer of the Nine Hells, tentatively ruled by Archduke Levistus.

This packet represents something of an evolution from my previous releases, as I continue to refine the quality through the art, the design, editing, and overall practical usability of the material. For this one in particular, I expanded on the idea I first tried in the Phlegethos packet of adding adventures - except this time I built a full adventure entirely from scratch, long enough to level up a party from start to finish. I’m very happy with how it turned out and excited to hear what you think!
Specifically, this packet includes:
A thorough description of the layer, including its magical properties, weather, and hazards.
A detailed overview of the River Styx: its appearance in Stygia, how it functions within the layer, mechanical effects for touching or submerging in it, and the unique phenomenon known as Stygian Ice.
A full description of the city of Tantlin and the civil war raging between Levistus and Geryon. This section also contains an in-depth profile of Levistus including his icy prison, personality, and of course, his stat block.
Stat blocks for Stygian Ice Elementals, the Xerfilstyx, the Amnizu of Stygia, and massive Stygian Megalodons.
A full adventure, The Cold Heart of Treachery, designed to showcase the major touchstones of a classical Stygian campaign: The City of Tantlin, sailing along the River Styx, the Hall of the Vanquished, the layer’s political turmoil, and the overarching theme of betrayal.
