DESCRIPTION

Hello Patrons!

I know the concept of withdrawing our senses is weird, and it's particularly weird to attempt to do so while listening to someone talk, or watching them in a video. I chose simple standing postures without a flow between them for this reason, but you can practice withdrawing the senses in any and every posture in your practice. I recommend that you close your eyes or find a drishti every time you come to your mat.

The very best Asana for this practice is Savasana. Spend at least 5 minutes in corpse pose, and then add more time as you become more comfortable. Even inviting a Savasana to break up tasks in your day-to-day life.

Don't fall asleep - It's not Napasana.

I'll be sharing some deeper practices for Pratyahara, and upcoming news in the podcast later this week. Until then - keep up with your practice, and stay curious.

Thank you so much,
Kim
