Hey all you lovely nerds, Brad here. I'm making a sappy thank you post and you have to read it (if you're willing and able.)
We had less than stellar years in our real life jobs as we've eluded to on the show a few times. Mine got extremely rocky multiple times, then Eric lost his out of left field instead. (Thanks, auto industry.) So the success of this side gig of ours the last year means more than you can hopefully understand. The Patreon isn't just a chunk of that either, it is the majority of the shows' income now. (Thankfully, fuck being worried about YouTube monetization.) That means that you losers are responsible for this happiness directly and not part of some massive blob of an anonymous audience.
Thank you all.
I don't really have a point to this post other than feeling warm and fuzzy reviewing how much we have grown over the last few years and being happy to feel like we are making content people enjoy. I guess to tease things so this wasn't a waste of your time:
We're back to normally scheduled episode next week.
We will hopefully be making a Hot Takes bonus content for Patrons for LVO reveals, check back the week after to see if we posted it I guess?
We have a Grotmas Detachment Tier List with Bricky guest hosting in the next few weeks. (Scheduling with Bricky is a nightmare, respect that man's work ethic, dear god is he busy.)
We just wrapped up a 3 month long project last week, you're probably still at least a month or more from seeing the end result as an episode. It now beats every other episode in total hours spent on it by an order of magnitude. It's big.
AoS content is on the schedule multiple times so AoS fans don't panic, you're getting some fun episodes this season.
We just finalized purchasing a new design from our merch artist, so we'll have a new design to shill in the upcoming episodes, it's amazing.
I'm taking suggestions for the Patron Decided Episode poll for the season for the next month or so before I post it, so feel free to pitch ideas in comments.
