Prey can struggle and escape when their predator is contained- as long as the predator is not also being digested.
Prey that escape in a voreception scenario will be placed in the belly of the predator.
Prey that activate skills on digestion or escape will activate them in their current stomach; i.e. pred containing raider eaten by carrier, raider escapes into carrier's stomach and eats pred, carrier begins digesting raider with pred inside.
Work started on allowing allied prey to be able to take limited actions
AI can now target other units within the same stomach in certain situations.
Skill activations updated to be able to run within current event or create a new event as needed.
Move and attack tile selection actions now handled via a set event within tilemap rather than inside input handling
Vore actions now target stomach and set predstate when targeting unique stomachs, such as wombs
Gleipnir's design completed
Faces update correctly when a unit is placed on an image
More bugs!
Another week, another bug. Or, I keep saying bugs, but a lot of it is minor features that need to be implemented, like the voreception changes. I think there's a lot of room for fun scenarios to be explored by adding a little more interaction within the stomach, and with the new setup it's way easier to do than it was before.
By the way, here's Raider's role reverse skill from before compared to now! The game has gone from every odd scenario needing to be manually coded, to each one being accounted for and supported seamlessly by other systems. In other words, the amount of work needed to add new skills and their potential to break the game through some oversight has been vastly decreased. I know the changes to the code won't be that visible when playing the game, so let me just tell you now that they are so incredibly nice to have.
Still unsure about a release date, I'm starting each day with the hope I can release a "complete" beta at the end, but there's always more obvious bugs to fix. Thank you, again, for all of your patience, you guys really are the best community around!
