I shit you not. That is quite rare for me. But it's been on my mind quite a lot recently. I don't know about all of you, but I look back at my older content and, art-wise, it's just very ugly. Poor lighting (I mean my lighting is still terrible, but it's significantly better than what it was), poor animations, and of course, some old models for some characters, Daphne and Morgana as an example.I keep thinking about doing a remaster. Now, I know what you're going to say, we all think it. Remasters are bad. Why are they bad though? Just because no new content is being made? Sure that's undesirable, but I don't think it's necessarily a "bad" thing.
So, I was wondering what all of you think? The plan isn't to remaster the whole game, but basically all of 0.1-0.3 (ending just after date night with Sophia). I do envision it would take a fair amount of time, probably an entire update cycle, it could also take a couple of months.Please choose an option on the poll what best suits you, but please be pragmatic, engaged and level-headed thinking with your decision. I will take it all on board.I wish I had some sort of comparison to show you what it'd look like, but I'm lazy. And I'd rather get your guys opinions on it first before I start planning properly. I know whatever decision I decide to go with won't please everyone, but nothing in this world does.(None of this would start, if it is to start; until 0.9 is out of the door)As always, feel free to voice your opinions in the comments as well.
Throughout development I did tinker with some previous scenes, so I can show those as a comparison, but also be aware, these were done a year and a half ago. (And they wouldn't be remastered again, unless I thought they needed it)
