[0.9] Progress Report #12

Another two weeks, another devlog! And I have some stuff to talk about in this one given you've seen the image above, and if you haven't, then I don't know, your brain works in mysterious ways you'd actively choose to read some text instead of looking at a pretty picture.Anyway, I have decided to split 0.9 up a bit. I've taken out the last two scenes of the original 0.9 and they will go into 0.10 instead, as I said a couple of dev-logs ago one of the scenes is quite complex and will require a lot of renders and animations. AT LEAST 64 animations, and realistically I just don't want you guys waiting around forever for new content, so I've decided to end 0.9 on a natural ending that was going to be glossed over originally but honestly, it's the perfect stopping point. I don't know how or why I decided it wasn't going to be as cool as it was, but it turned out absolutely amazing and I can't wait for you to see it. The entire update is kinda fire - but if you don't think it is, keep that to yourself hehe.

Now, I know some people will complain. "Waa the update is short" - That's just unfortunate. The update is still pretty large. Just as large as 0.6 and all the previous updates before it. It was only 0.8 that was much bigger than the rest of them. It's already been 5.5 months since I started working on 0.9 and personally, that's long enough without content SO. this is not a release date, If you know me, I don't do those. BUT! I will say a loose EXPECTATION of two weeks for 0.9! Yes. Two weeks! I'm super excited for you all to dig your teeth into it, I have done A LOT of funky stuff this update, some of which you'd have probably never seen before in a game like this. If you play a lot of them, I'm sure you would have, but for the average joe, probably not. I don't know, boost my ego.Oh, also, it does mean some of 0.10 is already written. So... yay!That's about it for the yapping, I think. Er, oh yeah. I'm going to be re-rendering the first scene in the kitchen from 0.1 for 0.9 as well and that will be shipped with it to a lot of your disappointment. Again, that's unfortunate but it's what I want to do. I know for a fact that if I booted up TNT for the first time and was excited to play looking at the itch page and then I get presented with that monstrosity, I would have noped out of it pretty quickly. At the time I would have thought it was super cool and looked really good, but it really doesn't. I'm a learned perfectionist. Oops.Oh look at that, I said I would stop yapping and then I just continue. Where's that sanity meter? Okay, this time I am actually ending it. SOON(tm)
