DESCRIPTION

Alright, there's a lot happening right now, so I decided to use this Newsletter feature to talk a little more in detail about the future of all this... Starting with the fact that it feels kinda strange waking up today and not having to draw Summer Cultives panels 😆 I'm starting to miss the burnout.

First of all, New Tier 😈✨

I will not run in circles here, Long story short this Tier will financially support my path as a creator and help me continue developing both current and future projects.

While Tomato Legion Tier will remain exactly the same and keep all of its current benefits, this new Tier is meant to feel more connected to the actual development process behind my stories. I wanted a Tier where those who truly enjoy the project could take a more active role in it, being part of the choices I make and helping me grow from a much more personal experience.

Spanish Re-edition, and project expansion 💭

I’ve been thinking a lot about how to handle this. Even though Patreon is probably where SCANR has found the strongest support so far, the project was originally designed to exist on Tapas (well... technically on Webtoon first, but Bastet’s atmosphere was a little too much for that platform 😆).

Tapas treated the project really well, but now that S1 is over, it feels like the perfect time to make some adjustments and start expanding toward a Spanish-speaking audience. There are many platforms that feels really promising for this kind of format, and honestly, this whole re-edition also gives me room to experiment with a fresher episode structure.

One of the biggest changes will be the pacing itself. I want to make the reading experience lighter and adapt SCANR to a more modern manhwa-style structure, whose biggest strength is usually shorter episodes around 10–20 panels. I was working within a 25–45 panel range, which not only made the series more vulnerable to reader drop-off (thanks, doomscrolling culture), but also became genuinely unsustainable for a single person, to the point where an episode literally couldn’t be released on schedule 🥴

Either way, I’m really excited about this new stage. I have a feeling the Spanish-speaking audience is going to welcome Mayce and all the cast with open arms. This is also making me consider to run a new Instagram page dedicated entirely to Spanish editions.

We’ll see how it goes.

My Coworker is a Magical Gyaru 💞🪽✨

So… what’s going on with this project?

Not gonna lie, I’ve been getting really excited about the idea of coming back to it. The characters feel super refreshing to work with and, unlike Summer Cultives, this story wasn’t born from pin-up concepts at all. It actually started on a script with barely any visual ideas, so the art and identity of the project developed much more naturally over time. I’ve been thinking pretty seriously about bringing it back lately cause I trust this one… but at the same time, SCANR Season 2 also has me really into it right now 😭

What do you all think? What should we jump into right after the Spanish version of SCANR?

Please let me know in the comments.

Episode 12 Exclusive will happen, but not next Monday

The Leon & Mayce couch scene from Episode 12 is still in development.

I know many of you have been waiting for it, and I want to give it the attention it deserves instead of rushing it out. Because of that, I’ll be taking a short break this week, the exclusive scene is tentatively planned for release around two Mondays (Please forgive me 😓).

So, yeah... in short:

New Patreon Tier For those who want to financially support my projects.

SCANR Spanish Re-Edition Aiming to expand the series toward Spanish-speaking audiences across different platforms.

Shorter Episode Format Cause Doomscrolling culture fried our attention spans.

Possible Return of MAGYARU Thinking about potentially bringing the project back.

Episode 12 Exclusive Scene Quick update on the LeonxMayce exclusive scene, plus a small note about my short break.

That’s pretty much everything for now. Please leave you thoughts in the comments, it really helps me a lot to know what you think about all of this, especially considering some of you work hard for your money and still choose to financially support my work for one reason or another. Please don’t think I take that for granted...

Thank you for sticking with the project this far. I will forever be grateful for all the support.

See you all soon 🌱✨
