The great galactic tour is drawing to a close, but Amicus looks like he might be coming home with a gravitational pull of his own! One more feast won't hurt, right? Enjoy!
*************
Watching Amicus at these banquets had been a new wonder. As you sat at his— increasingly soft and flabby— side across a half dozen systems across the stars, you had watched every vassal and ally to the Wolven Empire ply the new Emperor with every decadent luxury and delectable morsel available in the Galaxias, and then you watched them all disappear into your husband's maw by the fistful. The honeymoon and goodwill tour you had been on was dominated by feasts and banquets, and Amicus, once so hale and solid, broad-shouldered and muscular, was now an enormously rotund and increasingly plush beast. You had no idea if there were differences between wolven and human biologies, and could only imagine how so much immense weight would have flattened you, but you wondered if you should be worried about Amicus.
The wolf was fat in every sense of the word, and every part of him had grown wide, round, and blubbery. His royal garments split and frayed over his round, chunky thunder-thighs round as kegs and his wide hips, augmented by a breathtakingly vast, throne-breaking rear spilling out of his trousers. The final destination of all those massive meals was an enormous, tremulous belly that spilled out in vast waves when he stood that overfilled his lap and came dangerously close to dragging along the ground, leaving Amicus with needing to heft up his gut with the still impressive strength left in his thick arms.
And yet, for all that weight, for the jaw-dropping level of obesity that he had reached, Amicus laughed and smiled more, dimpling his thick round cheeks, and for all the blushes his new weight caused him, by the time you and he reached Omorfa, treated by Alexios and Cassius, you swore you had never seen him so full of life— and every single morsel in the Galaxias. Maybe you didn't have much reason to worry after all.
Amicus caught you staring at his gigantic gut, and let out a low chuckle that sent tremors down his multiple chins and huge middle. "What— what are you looking at?"
You felt yourself flustered, tripping over your words, and Amicus let out one more laugh before draping a huge arm over you, enveloping you as you're pulled into the orbit of his soft, doughy side. "Come on— one banquet left, and then home's in sight. And I have a small surprise for you."
