This month, Bam has exploded on the soccer scene in more ways than one, while Beast takes dinner and a show- paired with a lot more dinner. Enjoy!
Quick edit: fixed and reposted Beast’s scene!
*************
"And here comes Bam barreling down the field, center forward— and second striker— and the wingers— wait, is that— is that right? That can't be…" There was some feedback from the announcer's booth. "Is Bam really every position for the forward part of the team? That— Is that allowed?"
"Who's going to stop me? Bam!" the deer boasted to himself as he charged across the soccer field. He had always been the star of the team, but now that was starting to get more literal— as in, he was starting to drag in the rest of the team with a gravitational pull by the sheer mass he had built for himself. It had begun as only a standard bulking routine, but then he got a new sort of protein powder from Tom Nook's place, an import from the mainland— and well, bam.
Over the course of only a few weeks, the deer exploded in size, starting out as any number of broad-shouldered jocks on the island, and now he was a titan. His blue fur coated over an immense network of pumped up muscles and rippling brawn, threatening the integrity of his uniform as the ground shook at his approach. Legs with thighs thick as tires rolled off one another, brimming with all the power of an oncoming train, arms like siege weapons churned with every pace, biceps like boulders heaving against his enormous, breathtakingly beefy chest. The deer was already picturing how he would be spending his share of the team's winnings- a lot more orders for Tom Nook's, for starters.
The deer shoulder-checked the opposing team with shoulders that struck at them like landslides, the vast topography of his back, buffeted by wing like lats, shifting and churning, giving an amazing view to the crowd as they watched him charge towards the goalie. Every fiber in his titanic legs flexed, power building up like a massive engine roaring to life- he kicked the ball, watching it tear right through the net and embed itself in the wall.
"Uh... is that... Does that count as a goal if it goes through the net?" The announcer asked openly. Bam frowned, turning his gaze up towards the announcer's booth and snorted. He pumped up his massive arms, biceps heaving upwards until they eclipsed his head and antlers, and then slammed his fist together in a threatening manner.
"Uh- uh- Yes! Yes that counts, Bam wins the winning goal!"
The crowd cheered, and the massive deer grinned toothily, pumping his arms again in victory. "That's more like it! Bam!"

"Be our guest, be our guest, put our service to the test, mh-hm, mh-hm-hm…" Beast rumbled deeply as he hummed the extremely catchy tune his maître d' had written. He had no idea that the staff got up to such elaborate rituals for dinner; most of his meals had been unceremonious affairs, with a huge shank of meat and something to wash it down. The Beast had honestly thought he had left all this behind him years ago, but he had no idea how entertaining haute cuisine could be- not to mention, how very, very filling.
"Hah, that was wonderful, Lumiere! Wonderful!" Beast grunted, reaching with his thick hand for one more morsel. "One more time! Encore- and bring out some more of the grey stuff!"
"Uh... another encore, Master?" Lumiere asked tentatively, the enchanted candelabra starting to worry about the Beast’s health- or whatever was happening here. The Master of the Castle had been in a foul mood over the past few weeks, much more than usual- in a last ditch effort to boost his spirits, and spare the rest of the staff his temper tantrums, Lumière had put together a special dinner and show, something extravagant he had been cooking up with the others for a while.
The Beast loved it- more than anticipated. He came back for seconds, thirds, fourths- every night he had been there, insisting on more grand feasts. It had certainly improved his mood, but all that massive amount of food had to go somewhere.
The Beast’s burly body, an animalistic, monstrous build with a deep chest and sinewy muscle, had been smothered under a tidal wave of fine wine, rich creams, hearty meats, and an obscene amount of foie gras. He had grown into a creature of such immense weight, it was getting hard to tell where his oceanic gut ended and the rest of him began, plates and serving platters left to stack up in the shelf of his belly, as it was easier for him to reach there with his sausage fingers than the table. His barrel-thick thighs sprawled listlessly on the floor, as his flabby rump had already flattened his throne-like chair. Every part of him, from the decadent piles of fat folds along his back, his doughy, padded arms, and the rings of extra chins hiding under his bushy mane was as richly stuffed as the roast turkeys he had been served.
“Come now, Lumière! Another- why, I haven’t even had dessert!” Beast bellowed. His mouth was already salivating at the thought of another fruit tart, some log-sized eclairs, or a rich soufflé.
Before Lumière could respond, Fifi burst in the door. “Master! Master, there is a girl in the castle! She could be the one to break the spell!”
The Beast froze, and Lumière met his gaze. He looked down, taking fistfuls of his own fat and giving that vast stomach a shake, the plates stacked up on his own belly rattling. “…Oh.” He gulped, then looked back to Lumière. “…Do you think she would like a dinner date?”
