Thank you for voting in last week's "Choose a Classical Master" poll! We will be studying the works of John Singer Sargent and J. C. Leyendecker for 4.2.
These two traditional artists have VERY different styles, and we can learn a lot from each of them. Sargent uses simple, loose brushstrokes to give the indication of various materials, while Leyendecker is a master of shape, form, and composition.
We'll be studying the concepts from some great works of theirs and teaching you some more skills to apply to your painting process.
We've already seen some EPIC 4.1 assignments, so if if you need some inspiration, we recommend checking out your classmates' work!
