I'm celebrating Nine Years of marriage with Jen tomorrow! Also, Monster Manual 2025: The Black Pudding, Bear & Twig Blight!

Tomorrow I'm celebrating 9 years of marriage with Jen!

Hello friends! I'm happy to announce that tomorrow I'll be celebrating nine years with the greatest wife of all human history! (fight me). Of course this means I'll be taking off tomorrow as I don't think Jen would appreciate me working on our wedding anniversary :P . So I'll get back to it on Thurs and work on requests. Thanks for your patience and understanding. We're gonna have a relaxing day off and probably go out on a fancy dinner somewhere. I'll even wear a suit :D

Monster Manual 2025 Minis for Today:

Today I worked on the slimy Black Pudding from the new Monster Manual! It was a rather relaxing sculpting exercise given its just a mass of goop haha. The model from 2014 made a nice starting point to then go ham on the bubbly details and gross grasping strands. I also made a smaller version that you'd use in case it gets split in half from a slashing or lightning attack.

Also I've included the Black Bear here and in the drive. It didn't really need any updates though. He's perfect just the way he is haha

Then I got started on all the Blights in the new book. First up is the Twig Blight. This is a little dude that might be a challenge for FDM folks but I think the way I posed him in this model should be doable. Only the largest twigs show up in FDM too so you don't have to worry about the little ones. In theory you don't need supports for this guy, but, maybe some forced supports under his butt will be helpful. When I continue the Blights next week I'll make some more dynamic poses for resin users.
