I ended the regular Yenny comic strip in 2012. I had several distribution and syndication offers that went south at the end and I kind of grew tired of that.
No more ideas were coming to my mind plus I was in the middle of some personal situations.
In 2015 reboots were the order of the day, so I said 'Why not give it a try?
So I started Yenny from the very beginning. New characters like Peny appeared on the strip too.
My goal was to ease all those racy elements that the original strip had in order to make it re attractive to syndicates.
Well, that didn't happen.
Modesty Blaise was ending it's run on newspapers and the syndicate was looking for a new girl-protagonist comic to take it's place.
A syndicate representative traveled to PR just to meet with me and talk about formally syndicating Yenny to newspapers.
Everything was running smoothly, but in words of the same representative, "Someone still finds Yenny inappropriate for distribution and that was the end of it.
