Bug fixes and compatibility updates for IG 408.1.
Added an option to hide chats in direct messages. You can hide a chat by long-pressing it, and toggle the visibility of hidden chats by long-pressing the chats list title label.
Downloading all items from stories/posts now respects the default media quality set in Settings. If no quality is set, the app will automatically download the higher-resolution version and ignore DASH. If multiple videos require encoding, a separate download item will be created for each video.
Added the ability to move Action Button sections up and down on the Button Configurations page.
Removed the “Mark as Seen on Typing” option because it was causing some lag in direct messages.
Fixed an issue where the ‘Collapsible’ option in Action Buttons section settings could not be turned off.
Fixed audio messages download by adding a button next to the audio message bubble (it became too complicated to keep it inside the action menu).
Fixed an issue where pinning chats in the DM share sheet sometimes failed to recognize long-press.
Fixed an issue on iOS 26 where confirmation alerts caused the app to rotate on iPhone.
Fixed the profile action button not hiding during screenshots/recordings when Hide UI is enabled.
Fixed long-press to expand profile pictures.
Improved button haptics with a slightly stronger impact.
🔗 How to install and update
Sideloading
Download, sign and install this IPA file. (Duplicate IPA file)
If you are signing the app with AltStore using a free Apple ID, you need to use the Plugins-Removed IPA file.
If you're updating from an older version, make sure to use the same signing certificate as your existing installed version so you're able to update without deleting.
Push notifications require signing the app with a distribution certificate (Check this guide on how to receive notifications), (Flekstore is one of the most reliable options for sideloading).
You can also download the apps directly from our Sideloading source (https://altstore.fouadraheb.com). It can be added to most signing tools Flekstore/KravaSign/AltStore/Feather/ESign/Gbox.
TrollStore (iOS 14 - 16.6)
Download this IPA file and open in TrollStore app to install or upgrade your existing version.
Jailbreak (iOS 14 - 16.6)
Regram supports iOS 14+, but since IG 314.0 and newer supports only iOS 15+, some features on iOS 14 are not supported or won't work properly.
Add https://apt.fouadraheb.com to your package manager 's sources and download Regram from there.
⚙️ How to enable Open in Regram Safari Extension
Go to the Settings app > find and select Safari settings
If you see "Default Browser App", change it to make sure Safari is your default browser
Then go to Extensions > Open in Regram > Enable "Allow Extension" and set permissions to "Allow" for all available domains
That’s it! Now every time Safari detects an IG URL it will show an Open in Regram alert which opens in Regram.
