This is a project that is only possible thanks to your generous support. In a follow up to my initial video on recycled 3D prints, I've gotten serious about reclaiming filament with this shredder box. It is built to the Precious Plastics specs and made by a local business advertising on the Precious Plastics bazaar.
There were some delays in manufacture and delivery but it has arrived in what appears to be good working order. I will partially strip down the winch and try and work out how to connect the two. Some basic fabrication will then be needed to make a frame. Hopefully I get it as compact and cheap as possible, in case someone wants to follow along at home.
I'm not sure how long it will take but once it is ready to munch on it's first pieces, I'll make sure to film it for you.
