This tactic is inspired by Croatia’s setup and has been built into a powerful 3-4-2-1 system for FM26. The aim of this tactic is to give you control in midfield, strong wide support, two dangerous attacking midfielders between the lines, and a striker who can lead the line while still linking the whole attack together.
In testing, this tactic finished with a 96% win rate, creating loads of chances while still staying solid defensively. It is ideal if you want a tactic that can dominate possession, overload central areas, and still create constant attacking pressure through the wide players and front three.

Recommended usage guide
The main version is the one I would start most matches with. It gives you the best balance between control, chance creation and defensive stability. If you are drawing after 30–35 minutes, playing a weaker side, or need to push for a goal, switch into the attacking version. If you are leading late on, especially after 65–70 minutes, use the defensive version to help manage the game and see it out.
For this tactic to work at its best, you’ll want energetic wing-backs, centre-backs who are comfortable defending space, two midfielders who can work hard and keep the ball moving, and attacking midfielders who can create, score and press from the front. The striker is also important because they need to be involved in the build-up as well as finishing chances.
