I'd mentioned this before in a dev commentary, but I finally went and did it! New Pax is now much more compact than before!
The goal was to trim the fat and make things more compact! Now, no matter where you're standing in the city, you'll always be able to see at least 5 interactable NPCs/Signs/Chests/Berry bushes/Anything interesting! (And most of the time it's more than that, usually you can see around 8-10 at a time!)
I also cut a lot of buildings that I didn't have too many set-in-stone plans for (Sorry, grocery store...) and rearranged some preexisting buildings! For example, Trixie's office is now closer to the courthouse and bakery (So she's got better access to the donuts!) and Cecily's pub is in an alleyway right below the more sketchy part of town! I feel like she fits best there...
This is just another one of the many small flourishes and reworks that'll come in the Chapter 10 update! Stay tuned for more!!
