WHATS BEEN GOING ON?
Summer Holidays Are Here!:
We've been staying in one area (Kastos/Kalamos) just moving around bays when we get bored or need food this month because its summer hols and lots of my boat friends have been nearby...also mum and dad still have to work so it means we can spend time with them but also be somewhere that's safe for us to swim because we know it pretty well. We've been sleeping in the boat tent at night on deck which is really cool because usually in the summer its hard to sleep because of it being so hot but this time around has been SO much better plus we get to watch the stars at night!
To be honest I didn’t really like The £2 Tuition Hub (the online learning I have been doing - kind of like a school but paid for in blocks). Literally the only thing we did was lessons and learning - no social stuff - just boring classrooms where the teacher talks but you can't chat to the other kids!
If there was one thing I liked there though, it was marine science. My teacher was very nice, the way it was executed was good, and it was very interesting.
I am really happy that I will be going to Minerva Virtual Academy next term joining Josh at his secondary school because he gets to do loads of fun stuff and they can chat in class and socialise loads in clubs and social rooms...they even do meet-ups in the UK which maybe we could fly there for.
So far this summer hols we have been doing loads of sea scootering finding octopus, sea shells and seeing some cool underwater rocks at Kalamos island!
I have also been catching up with familiar faces of sailing friends and also got to go to Mytikas or kastos…
I got to see a lot of my old friends like Fleur and Anouk who we hung with a lot in the marina over last winter…also Bella and Alfie who are also liveaboards heading through to France! we did some Watersports, watched movies, hung on our boats, played lego and played games…
Mytikas:
So first; mom’s paddle board got stolen! We don’t know who took it but right now a lot of mischief is going on in Mytikas and people have been stealing things like tenders so dad is being really careful with the Grand and swimming to shore sometimes so he doesn't have to leave it at the port… otherwise it is pretty cool here though! There’s a town which is great for shopping, you can go to this REALLY cool park that has these workout machines and a hose for when you’re hot…also my grandad is here visiting but he is staying in a campsite in his van so we don’t see him all the time just for meals and watersports on the Grand tender.
WHAT WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT THIS COMING MONTH
I’m going on a ferry ride to Lefkada island with Josh and Mum so dad and grandad can do some sailing together but otherwise…just packages, Like: I have 2 Minecraft lego sets coming in just 6 days. We’re also getting two new paddle boards! There are some other boat toys coming too but I can’t say what yet so thats also pretty cool watch this space!
