It’s been a while…
Hi everyone!
Sorry we haven’t written in ages — lots has been going on 😅
WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON?
Over Christmas we took a whole month off work and school, which was AWESOME. During that time I met some new (and familiar) sailing friends, and I also got new LEGO, which is obviously very important information.
While we’re in the marina, we get to play with all our friends. We run around with our swords and stuff, play hide and seek (there is SO much room and way too many good hiding places), and just generally cause chaos — in a good way.
We also go on before-school walks with mum to “get us into shape”… which basically means walking while still half asleep.
CHRISTMAS WAS GREAT
Christmas was honestly amazing. I got a wireless keyboard, laptop table, portable table, mouse mat, and a hub for all the wires and stuff. Mum and Dad wanted us to be able to game and do school on a bigger screen, so now our TVs are actually monitors. They say it’s better for posture… but I think it’s mostly just way more fun.
We also ate A LOT of good food and just hung out together. Me and Josh had three whole weeks off school, so Mum and Dad took a break too and we all just chilled.

Honestly…
Being able to run around the marina with all my friends. Nothing really beats that.

Okay so… the bathroom door broke 😬
Josh and I kind of have a habit of slamming it, and one day we were play-fighting and broke it… but we didn’t realise until Dad went in to use the toilet and HE GOT STUCK.
I had to pass him loads of tools through the window from outside while he tried to escape.
He was not happy.
On the good side, we also got some upgrades — new super comfy mattresses, pillows, and stuff, which is WAY better than before.
NEW CREW MEMBER 🐱
We also got a new foster kitten called Biscuit! He mostly lives outside and climbs into literally any bag he can find.
We recently found out Biscuit is actually a boy, which is funny because we made the same mistake with Mali and Ronnie before 🙃
STORM MADNESS 🌬️
Recently the wind has been REALLY strong. I know this isn’t your local news channel (globally anyway), but there’s been a medicane moving into Europe, which explains a lot.
Luckily, we’re protected by the marina walls, so we’re safe for now.
WHAT AM I EXCITED ABOUT?!
I’m going snowboarding in the mountains with Dad for his birthday — which is in two days from when I’m writing this! We just got all the gear (check out the picture 😎).
Mum isn’t coming because she hates the cold and would rather spring-clean Holly Blue and hang out with the cats, which honestly sounds very Mum.
I’m also super excited for spring, because that means swimming with all our friends again 🏊♂️☀️
