Alright, this is something I’ve been thinking about. As some of you may know from reading the “about the creator” section, one of the project’s goals is to make the game fully 2D once we reach $1,500 per month (which is almost what we need for most of us to work on this game full-time).
With this goal in mind, one idea I’ve considered to reduce the future workload is to make the sexual scenes from now on (and gradually rework the earlier ones as the acts progress) in 2D. This would obviously create a game that naturally unfolds in 3D but switches styles during the sexual scenes. I think it’s a bit unusual, but it could also be better since we’d be avoiding the limitations we currently face with Koikatsu.
In any case, before we consider this within the team, we want to know what you think. Do you believe this is a good idea and would be an improvement for the project, or do you prefer to stick with the Koikatsu format? So far, I’ve assumed that most people would prefer 2D over KK images, but honestly, I’m not sure if that’s the case.I’m including a poll, but I’d love to hear your opinions as well!
(As odd as it may sound, this also helps us speed up the project. Right now, it’s easier for me to work with Photoshop than to try to make KK look good.)
