Sharing some good news here as it'll hopefully mean less reasons for further disruption. My mother's tests results have come back as NOT bowel cancer. Huge relief. They don't know what it is yet, and it may still mean treatment, but it's good to know it isn't that.
I know I'm behind on my commitment for the $10+ patrons as well - I'll be trying to get something soon, but things have obviously been stressful here.
But this is good news because if it HAD been bowel cancer and she was given x months to live then I'd have wanted to cut back on my writing to spend time with her for those final months.
