Welcome to 2026 everyone!~First and foremost, the winner of last month's poll ended up being Tinkaton! With that being said; as previously mentioned I've decided to pause billing for January to catch up and recuperate a bit after the holidays. Before Tinkaton, I've got a couple more poll winners and requests so I hope you look forward to them all~
On a similar note, I wanted to be transparent regarding my pace going forward into the new year. It feels like only yesterday, but apparently it's already been nearly three years since I first started this Patreon. At the time I had been notified of an imminent lay-off from my job, and was hoping to transition into online illustration to help supplement my income. Thankfully, the aforementioned lay-off was postponed for quite some time, but did eventually come to pass. Since then, I've gotten by with contract work and odd jobs, but going into the new year I've determined that I should more seriously look for new fulltime employment opportunities. Before starting this account, I had already been drawing for fun and I'm sure many of you have noticed that I frequently fall back on old drawings to post on weeks in which I haven't quite finished the latest piece yet. But that well is starting to run dry. Between my existing schedule and job searching, I have doubts I'll be able to continue consistently posting a drawing every single week. In the future, my schedule may slow to posting a drawing every other week or so.
From the beginning I've struggled to find a way to balance my pace and membership perks that feel worthwhile. I've always tried to avoid putting any significant work behind a hard paywall, so I don't have much more to offer patrons. I apologize for not being able to provide more and completely understand if anyone should decide membership is no longer worth it. And of course I want to sincerely thank you all for any and all support you've all shown thus far. Running this account has been an absolute blast and I'll do my best to live up to your support in 2026!
