Hello everyone! Time for a new HQRM build!
Here's what we've added: The new area of the tavern from last month is now Covered with Lovingly Laid Pixels! A whole, hand-pixeled interior, with cute little paintings on the wall, and a bookcase with moving doors! I got really engrossed in detailing this thing, im not gonna lie. There's still a couple last corrections that need to be made, but for now, I'm calling it good.
In this new area of the tavern, I've also added a pair of scruffy Bar Patrons, who have portraits and some dialogue. Nothing much yet, but a system for exempting the previous system is in place. I can now spawn NPCs individually, on top of a set of NPCs already spawned. It's gonna need reworking as I add more content, but for now, it seems to work.
I also added a Snake Woman NPC who visits the bar after you first defeat the Drey Mare. And... She fucks you! I'm planning on adding a way to replay NPC sex scenes, but I havn't yet. So, in the meantime, I've simply made this snakey gal Never Disappear :D
And finally. I switched to using Archaic English Pronouns for all the dialogue in the game! I'm still sorting out the voices I want for each character, but this feels very Right to me. I find it charming as hell and I hope you will too.
So yeah! It's primarily an Art and Dialogue update. I wanna write more about it but I'm really sleepy and I think I might be getting sick. So I'm leaving it at that! Thanks for the support and I hope you enjoy the update!
