Got the return home coming up --well, almost. They get back to Fort Cavazos, at least. Or do they?
The in-between image, with pencils and inks...
I should have gone back and done the ring around the water tank itself in PhotoShop instead of using my freehand version, but I was in a hurry.
I still like how it turned out, and the background sin Ft. Cavazos are always so easy: blocky brown buildings and pale sky (although we did get a few days of evening rain and mosquitos the size of B-52s).
