Work is coming along smoothly so far with Belle's mod, and I'm back with yet another set of progress pictures to show you all what I've been working on.
AVGV found a reference picture for a pair of jeans that were cut off on one leg, so I decided to make an alternate version of the jeans that featured this design, including pockets hanging out the bottom. I've also been continuing to work on Belle's jean's diffuse, adding a belt to the design.
As is usual for my mods, customisation is the name of the game, so I made it possible to toggle which leg this is on. While doing this, I thought it would be neat to let people have a thigh high on the exposed leg, and while it was a massive pain to set up the ini file for the toggle logic, it's now working!
Of course, you can also have both legs cut off if you want, making a pair of jean booty shorts.
While working on the thigh high toggles, I also decided to make all the arm accessories and thigh straps into seperate objects, so they can be individually toggled, and mixed and matched as desired.
As I was doing this, I decided to take another look at the strap suit design. I had originally thought I couldn't make it into a slingshot design, due to Belle being cut accross the mid section. This doesn't post too much of an issue for tight clothing, but for something like a slingshot, where you need a stretch of fabric reaching accross the top and bottom in one long piece, it is much more of a problem. However, I was able to get it working!
As you can see, I also decided to include another recolour for the strap suit. After making the front section into a slongshot, I also decided to do the same on the back, for a total of three possible strap suit options.
These utilise the skimpy top and bottom toggles. Wanting to make further use of these toggles, I created alternate versions of the other tops, replacing the main part of the fabric with mesh versions. These can be used either with the now exposed nipples (and piercings), or the heart shaped nipple pasties can be worn under the tops.
While trying out some outfit combinations, I thought a pair of boots would pair really well with several pieces. I had just set up Cissia's blend file, and decided to pinch her boots and try them out. I think they go nicely together. I'm currently in the process of editing and recolouring them to fit Belle a bit better. You can also see the darker skin variant here.
And I also created an open toe variant of these shoes, as well as resculpting Belle's original sock to work with them, and making the socks cover her exposed toes when they are toggled on. And you can also see the tan skin variant here.
And, while I was at it, I also made the toe rings I had created for the strap shoes work with these boots.
I also liked how the longer nails looked on Shunguang and Jane, so I added a nail length toggle, as well as making 2 additional colour variants, so they can be better matched with your choice of otufit.
I've also been working on making more recolours for the otufits. I wanted to add an aditional colour variant for one piece, and had to either make the ini file handle the top colour toggle variable only being able to increase for that one outfit piece, or just make an aditional recolour for everything... which is what I ended up deciding to do. While the ini file change would have been easy, I always like giving people extra options.
The mod is coming along nicely, and I think I should be ready to put up the test release soon for Cake Stand members.
