Hello Everyone!

We are happy to announce that we have been working on another PEARs test, this time focusing on the beginning of the round, specifically about adding more details and mechanics to make the early game have more influence over the round, and to make it more engaging to participate in.

To those who maybe confused, Patreon Early Access Rebalancing Sessions (abbreviated as PEARS) are experimental testing sessions offered to Patreon Supporters. PEARS allows for the development team to experiment with concepts in a prototype state without affecting the development cycle of an upcoming update. Feedback gathered from these sessions will help determine whether these ideas are worth pursuing. Features included in a PEARS are not guaranteed to be implemented into the live game.

All of the work in this PEARs was done by technical game and level designers, because the design work for 15.0 has been completed. All this work did not and does not affect the speed of development for either SCP-953 or the Surface Zone Rework.

None of the content included is final, and is not indicative of a future update. All work shown here is for testing and does not mean it will ever be added to the game.

The content is also in a prototype state, it is not ready for base game and there are many experimental concepts and designs that may not last.

PEARs are only available to Tier-3 (Research Supervisor) Patreons and higher.

The first test will be hosted on Friday, 24th of April 20:00 BST, and will be active until the Sunday, 26th of April 20:00 BST. There will then be a week break between the next test which starts Friday, 1st of May 20:00 BST and ends Sunday, 3rd of May 20:00 BST.
