Hello Everyone!
PEARS 5, the early game overhaul test, is now live! This test is available to all users who are Tier 3 or higher! The changelog is attached.
What is PEARS?
Patreon Early Access Rebalancing Sessions are experimental testing sessions offered to Patreon Supporters which allow the development team to experiment with concepts in a prototype state without affecting the development cycle of an upcoming update. Feedback gathered from these sessions will help determine whether these ideas are worth pursuing, but does not guarantee they will be implemented into the live game
How will the PEARS Test work?
This PEARS Test will take place over the course of 2 weekend sessions. The first session starts in an hour and will run until Monday, 27 April 2026 00:00 After it concludes, we'll be shutting down the servers and taking a short break to assess feedback and consider any potential changes ahead of the next session. The second session begins Friday, 1 May 2026 20:00 and ends on 04 May 2026 If we've managed to meet all our testing objectives by the end of the second session, this is where this PEARS will officially end!

What Servers will be available for PEARS?
We'll be hosting 6 Official Servers for this PEARS Test. Three will be in Europe, with the other three in North America! Community Servers will not be available while playing PEARS.
Can I Stream or Record PEARS?
You are free to record and stream on any platform for the duration of this test! Please don't distribute Access Keys or any Game Files.
How do I play PEARS?
Access is handled through our Patreon Portal! Here's how to use it:
Step 1 Login to the Portal by pressing the orange Patreon Button at: https://patreon.scpslgame.com/login You may be prompted with an additional menu here!If you are, ensure you're using the correct Patreon Account and click "Allow".
Step 2 Once logged in, you should now be looking at the home page. Next, we're going to need to link a Steam Account to receive the Access Key!
In the Beta Panel (top left), click the blue Link Steam Account button
You will be redirected to Steam to log in; click the green “Sign In” buttonPlease use the same Steam Account you'd like to play the PEARS Test on!
You should now be given an Access Key!
Step 3 Finally, we need to redeem this Access Key on Steam.
Open Steam and find the game in your Library tab
Right click on it's entry from the list on the left, and select Properties
In the Properties Window, click on the Game Versions & Betas tab
In the Private Versions section, paste your Access Code and press Check Code
If successful, a blue box should appear just below, click it to redeem the Code.
Close the Properties Window and press Update to install the Pears Test!
