DESCRIPTION

Hey TimTams!

I know it has been a long time since my last post, and I’d like to offer an explanation as to why.

I may have mentioned previously in passing, but I have had several health issues cropping up over the previous months. I have a rather weak immune system, and was hit with tonsillitis, a sinus infection, and a bout of COVID almost back to back. Needless to say, that took me out of commission for a while, and once I had recovered, I had a massive workload that I had to catch up on at my day job. I became hyper focused on pushing back from the slump that my illness had left me in, and my mental health was beginning to deteriorate.

By early-ish December, when work had wrapped up for the year, I was feeling completely burnt out, lethargic and riddled with anxiety. I knew that I needed to take some time to rest, recuperate, and see my family back in New Zealand for Christmas.

I sincerely apologize for not communicating this throughout. My mentality was that I could continue posting albeit more sporadically while I was recovering from this burnout, when realistically I needed to simply take the time to recover properly, which I have now realized. My anxiety also made me feel reluctant about sharing the state of my mental health at the time, as I didn't want people worrying too much on my behalf.

Nevertheless, having taken the time needed, I am back now, in much, much better health!

I totally understand that my absence has meant that your subscriptions haven’t been fulfilled, and I plan on remedying this as best as possible, either through refunds, free subscription prices over the next couple of months, or a combination of the two.

I will also begin posting audios once again, starting from the 27th of December, as I work on setting up a regular content schedule so you will know exactly when you can expect audios to drop.

Finally, this situation has given me a lot of perspective regarding the balance of my audio work and my day job. I will be talking to my employers over the Christmas break about working in a more limited, part-time capacity next year, in order to properly give myself the time to devote to audio work. Ideally, in the coming year, I will be able to make audio work my full time job.

I'd like to thank you all so, so very much for your patience, your concern and your care. I look forward to the coming year, and to getting back to creating content for you all, which is something I truly love doing.

Have a very safe and Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Love,

Timmy 💜💜💜
