I'm working on a new version of the Messy Seat, having retired the old one. Floor + wall background elements are placeholders, not sure about the seat itself as well, probably want something with a back as that makes it easier to make the perspective look right for me. It will take a bit more time to work out how to best render each arm of the pie pod in a 'firing' position, also I went through a bunch of different ways to show the gunge vat above as being connected to the larger structure and I'm still not sure about this one, so a lot of stuff might change and it may take a long time before I'm happy with it.
I'll be going through a few shifts to my IRL life over the next few months so I'm looking to set things up for my work as Wamiant so that I can make entertaining animations without burning too much extra time on various things that tend to consume it atm. So I plan to reuse a lot of setups more often than I do atm. I'm aiming to make this new Messy Seat one of the setups I reuse more, alongside the new dunk tank, The Annihilator, The Slop Machine and other past setups of the classic gunge tank.
I have enough WIPs using the classic gunge tank setup to make new stuff for that for a good while, mainly I'm just going to put a hard stop on making any new intricate setups after the few I'm currently working on, for the sake of my sanity as someone who has a lot of other stuff going on.
It's weird to think how far I've come from someone who just used to edit pie splats onto cute anime girl arts they found, I really appreciate all the support and want to supply you guys with good quality work, I just need to find the right balance for myself as someone who works a pretty exhausting job and who has other hobbies and dreams they want to explore and pursue alongside it.
