So, there comes a few times in the story where I have to do 2 things. Establish characters that I've planned to include in the story since it's conceptionandCreate characters that may only ever appear in this chapter but might have a bigger role as I create the story.Chapter 12 is both at the same time. Let's start with...
The girl on the left is the only character I had planned since the start of the story, but the specifics of her was always bound to be subject to change.
Here's some sketches from way back. Kozuki-chan was also planned way back and remained mostly unchanged aside from my drawings getting better.
Seeing how I used to draw makes me cringe every time. And this was just slightly more than a year before.Either way, you'd probably notice that the new version of her is far less... sleazy-looking. I feel like her role in the story is better suited for the prim and proper but stylish look. By the way here's a bit of her in the chapter itself And here's the other girl
She's a Rakshasa, and unfortunately I don't have many ways to exposit that in the chapter itself. Maybe I'll get to elaborate about it sometime in future.
Speaking of being unable to elaborate in the story, here's the rest of the girls.
The cat and fox just kinda happened. The girl with the freaky hair thing took a while and I wish I had a bigger role for her. She's a futakuchi-onna, a youkai that's pretty much a woman with an extra mouth at the back of her head. Lastly, two throwaway guys
The minotaur has never appeared ever but I definitely wanted some jock type to appear. The Kappa, however, I decided to bring back from one of the throwaway background characters
All the way back from chapter 1. Mygod his appearance changed. Maybe I should make this chapter 1 guy his own character now that I think of it. It'd be a great exercise in making different looking kappa as their own people too. Yeah... think I'll do that.Anyway, that's enough yapping. Time to keep grinding away at Chapter 12.
