Hi! First of all, thanks for reading and supporting my comic. I've been at this for the entire year now, and honestly the following it currently has is already more than I'd thought it'd get. Thank you!The path is long, but I want to see this story through. Hope you all enjoy whatever comes up all the way to the end.This is the first Patron-exclusive post for KANOIN. For this one I've decided to share some sketches I did for Chapter 6 as well as some other things.
For chapter 6, I wanted something as a prompt for the theme I wanted to explore in this chapter. I also really wanted to draw Lili some cute hairstyles. In the end I ended up drawing quite a few, way more than what I ultimately used.On the bright side, it also means I have a bunch I can use in future.As part of developing these, though, I wanted to explore a bit more:
It seems that Lili varies in feminine and masculine presentation with each hairstyle, while Kenta remains very much masculine. I guess this means I succeeded in a goal I set out for myself...What was this goal? Well, I wanted to draw Lili as someone who has a male(incubus) body but would present both ways and be very cute either way. And I wanted to accomplish that without just drawing a cute girl and calling it a day. Looking back, it seems I'm getting better about it over time. In fact, I'm shocked how much I've changed how I've even drawn in just a year...
