When I first started on Patreon, I set the subscription fee at $5. However, when my health took a turn for the worse and I was no longer able to upload content daily, I lowered it to $3.
Recently, I’ve been able to upload content almost every day. Even though I’m not fully recovered yet, I think I’ll be able to upload about 25 posts a month. So, I’m sorry to say this, but I’m planning to raise the subscription fee back to $5.
I did consider keeping the subscription fee at $3 and opening up request subscriptions, but based on my past experience, taking on requests isn’t easy. There are still many things that AI can’t handle yet, so I feel sorry for the subscribers who paid a premium for request subscriptions.
I started Patreon just as a hobby, but as I began spending more and more time on it, it started to cause practical problems. I realized it would be difficult to keep Patreon going on just $3, so after much consideration, I’ve decided to raise the subscription fee.
That’s about all I can say for now. As the subscription fee has gone back up, I’ll be back with even better artwork. I’m always grateful for your continued support.
