Okay. I've now finished the second "draft" of the whole episode. It's not the final draft, but it's definitely more than a rough draft. I'm now going to go through the whole thing and add everything that's missing from the animation, one character at a time. This is mostly movement, but for some scenes I've left some empty space. I'm not going to be able to pass this stuff down to other animators, as I've learned this time around that I'm EXTREMELY picky about getting the head movement a very specific way. So, starting with Scene A, I'm going to attack it one character at a time, going sequentially though A, B, C, D, F, and G. Scenes B, D, and G, are pretty much finalized already, but I'm going to go over them all in this draft just in case. If I do this correctly, I should be able to finish the character animation entirely in February.
In the background, I've got a couple animators working on their parts of Scene F, and they should be reporting back to me in early February. I've also got two musicians working on their bits of score, as well as the third musician, who I've laid at a blueprint for this past week, and is now working on his musical bit. I am expecting to get my commissioned assets delivered to me any day now.
Once I finish character animation, I'm sending everything off to a sound editor, who'll work on that while I tackle effects and lighting, which will be the home stretch. I hope I can continue this pace. I may not have been able to achieve a 2020 release, but I'm not going to let this bleed too far into 2021. Thank you for your support.
