I have hit several snags this week.
At the start, I had an animator drop out of the project and have since been scouting a suitable replacement that can specialize in the type of animation I need. So far, it has not gone well and I am still having trouble. One of the other animators on the project is almost done with his current workload, and if I can't find anyone else, I may have to split the rest of the work between him and myself.
In addition, I have had several people turn stuff into me this week, and a good amount of it was not quite where I wanted to be, so I have had to devote a good amount of energy into directing and correcting things in order to give a clearer image of what I'm looking for to those I've hired out. As a result, I couldn't completely finish the character animation for Scene "A" this week like I wanted, though I did come REALLY close. All characters but one are completely animated, and I'm going to really need to focus on getting their animation right for the opening shot.
I'm not going to lie: I've been getting really stressed about this lately and I'm starting to get impatient with my progress. I'm going to continue hammering away as much as I can, but I really need to have better weeks than this moving forward. Nonetheless, we've come very far, and the hardest parts are behind me now, so I'll just have to carry on one day at a time.
As always, thank you for your support.
