How much does the Bane symbiote influence the human within it compared to how much the human influences the symbiote? Perhaps they compliment each other both mentally and phyically.
Whatever the origin of the Banes are, if the symbiote had taken other planetary beings, It could have taken influence from those too. The elongated head or height, for example. What about everything else? The ass, thighs, hips or muscles? The sexual urge and even frustration seen throughout the human race. The greed and inatience to want something immediately. But also the love, the passion, the primal urges to protect and provide. All things humans would heavily influence within the symbiote.
I'd say we make pretty fucking great hosts..
