DESCRIPTION
This is an experimental film I made using a Ingmar Bergman-meets-Grave of the Fireflies still photoshoot I made with my kids in White Sands, New Mexico in 2018. Adobe Firefly has a means of animating still photographs, and I was curious if some sort of film could be made out of old stills- not like La Jetée which was literal stills, but newly-animated one. The few words that make up the rest of the film were ones I restricted myself from finding on my 20 minute walk from my apartment to the coffee shop.
Besides Firefly, I also used Suno for the music, Splice for the sound effects, and Procreate Dreams for additional animation.
