Time to wrap things up for January! I'm closing in on the finish line for the 33rd team wipe page. Likewise work has continued once more on the standee! Been pretty happy with how things have progressed on art this month. Likewise got some fun art from Naru on my new character Blu, the streamer lizard from my short story that was posted yesterday! Naru did way too good of a job on the leezard!
Also had a bit of a quick study last night! Wanted to play around with some color variation techniques and had a bit of fun with it all!

Team Wipe pg 33: This is probably the last update for page 33! I'm pretty much finishing up Naru's face on one last panel before heading into final highlights on him! Once that is done I'll be moving on to final touches for the page and dialogue! So don't be surprised if you see the finished version of this pop up in week or so haha!
Standee Progress: I'm back on the render work for the front of the standee! Been making my way across the body cleaning stuff up. Probably going to be chipping away at this most of February before I can finally work on the highlights for it! Going to be so stoked when I can start on the shines ;o;!
Blu the Streamer Lizard: Look it's a new character! Had a ton of fun with my story over the last few months which brought about an actual design for the OC. I think I'm going to sort of have Blu end up being my stand in OC for more RL focused inflation stuff in the future. Been wanting to have a streamer sort of character for ages, and Blu sort of naturally fit that role! Despite the finality of the bad end, he will very much be returning for more art and stories in the future. Having a character that sort of captures a bit of the darker aspect that can come with RL inflation is something I've not explored too much, so Blu may be a bit of an outlet for that XD. And let me just say, Naru did an absolutely stellar job on bringing my rough sketches to life for him! Literally killing me with this art ;o;!
as a side, Naru and I may be working shopping a comic version of the story down the road. I've started to doodle up some story boards for it now, but might be keeping it a bit under wraps in the future so that I can surprise folks with Naru's take on it :3!!
