Here she is! Rachel is my DOA6 main and one of my favorite characters in NG. I'm happy she won but I'm more surprised that she won 80% ahead of the rest. It was a bit tricky to draw her since her references weren't high quality and fan arts are pretty scarce. I hope more artists draw her.
The piece was smooth sailing after my third even. The pose worked well bet her right leg looked awkward after the addition of the belts; key pelvic anatomy was blocked by it. The fix was not drawing the rest of her right leg and blending it on the background as though its obscured by the darkness. The background was also, on hindsight a great choice. It popped out Rachel more.
Overall, this piece is the best example of me not drawing a detailed background but still adding to the piece. I'm not a fan of plain white background unless the character overlaps and fills the page 80%. With nothing to say now, I'm happy I was able to draw Rachel, finally.
