I was going to name this one Frequently Asked Post, but the acronym might miff our overlords, given that post titles are public.
As you all know, generally leaving things up in the open allows things to change as they develop, but since Neha has become a bit of a cornerstone, I've decided she needed more of an established background.
Stratton-Singh Conglomerate
Neha's grandfather Vikram Singh was the almost stereotypical prodigy and aerospace engineer who had quite a few ideas in the 1960s on how jet travel should look like. He made an unlikely partnership with Arthur Stratton whose family had old money wealth, but very little future prospects for their dwindling business empire in the highly technological second half of 20th century America.
Stratton-Singh Aerospace out of New York quickly became a competitor to the other, Seattle-based company. With success, came money to expand into a bunch of other businesses as well. And so it became the conglomerate it is in the game, as well as a DoD contractor and a big player in the military industrial complex. It also pulls on design elements from Rolls-Royce etc.
The jet Neha flies on is a derivative of one of his original designs.
Neha Singh, the heir apparent
Neha was chosen over her siblings as the heir by Arthur Stratton himself before he croaked, which has left some bitter feelings both within her family and that of Stratton's. This drama will develop over time.
In the meantime, enjoy the Baybach.
