DESCRIPTION

NP stands for non-pregnant (titles are public, so I have no idea what's the limit on what can be said there). I always hesitate posting and end up just dumping the download link to the next version. Want to change that a bit, even with imperfections, maybe make a dev blog of sorts.

I've been reworking Soumya's skin to be a bit more up to date, also solving some morphing issues with new geografted genitals (errors of which you can see in some shots, the recession along the normal direction of her skin around the waist. Wanted to share some of the process.

Historically, I started working on Bindr because I was really off-put by many of the poorly matched skin colors and generally awfully rendered VNs available online. There's still a long way to go for Bindr as well, but a lot of effort goes into avoiding stuff like this:

Absolute dogtier stuff that makes you reevaluate life choices when exposed to it. Avoiding such results takes a lot of concentrated effort which is why sometimes intervals between versions are high:

Eventually the peak will be when I am able to work consistently on highly custom scenes with everything being bespoke without outside influences. But that is massively time intensive as fidelity goes up (part of the reason big games take a decade to make these days).

Rendering cost is also high timewise. On dual 5090s, the average Bindr scene (rendered at 8K and downsampled to 4K to suppress fireflies and noise) takes around 10 minutes (including loading and offloading which is awful on multiple levels), and there are 150 scenes on average per encounter. So that's 25 hours of rendering per average encounter.
