I'll try to maintain save compatibility as much as possible once it's up, but right now I'll be running some polls on what happens with Soumya's last encounter which was in EA with 0.1.7, so I can go back and expand upon it. After that, going back to change stuff will be rather difficult, but there are ways around it (running a pop quiz on such a load to set those variables on old saves). It's been pissing me off as well as the number of progressions increases, testing it is very stressful. I'll try to make it work with 0.1.8 wrt 0.1.7, but until then CTRL is your best friend.
It's also been suggested to add some sort of "debug sheet" that lists the number of progressions with each girl etc as updates come along.
Delta updating
Another thing I've been working on quietly is some means of supplying deltas for updates if you have the previous thing installed. But the problem I'm facing right now is that it gets nuked by garbage antivirus software which has 0 nuance on this stuff.
If I manage to get this crap properly signed, it would allow updates to be 50-100 MB wrt the previous version you're running. I'll always upload the whole thing as well, but those deltas could be useful.
