Hi Everyone! Tonight's release is kinda silly, but I have been wanting to make this for soooo long. I picked up a wooden table from hobby lobby forever ago and crafted these little fairy dolls for my shelf.
This is where my inspiration came from. Ever since I learned how to 3d design, I've been wanting to recreate a table scene in 3d print form. lol. Now I just have to sculpt my stick figures.
This can be printed without an AMS. And you can use regular paint if you like instead of the 3d printed paint accents. The Good Soup sign is 2 color but only one change, so you can pause to print that if you only have a single color printer. The paint pallet is multicolor, you don't have to use it, but I made it a while back so I thought I'd include it with this project since it fits the aesthetic . It makes for a great mini bookshelf decoration too.
The table top glues to the table base. I just use super glue. I designed it this way so there would be no supports and it would be a clean looking print. Plus you can print the base white if you are wanting a more farm house look to it.
You'll notice there are different heights to the paint pieces in my pictures. I was testing what would look best. I decided on .75 mm for thickness but feel free to adjust that if you prefer thinner or thicker . The red was printed at .50 mm and the blue was printed at 1 mm. At thickness .50 mm it came of the tray but not easily. And the 1mm just felt too thick to me. So I went with the in between.
You can adjust the sign to be bigger as well if you want. It's like a little craft project. I didn't attach anything so you can kind of make it your own. Glue on what you want, leave off what you don't.

Standard 0.2 layer height
3 wall loops on the table base only. I did this because of the delicate table legs. I have is set to just that object. 2 on everything else is fine.
10 percent infill Gyroid
I do plan to design another table base. One that I can travel with more easily to conventions. I wanted to finish this model so I could print some for Appolycon but realized they may not fair well in my travel bins, as they get thrown around quite a bit when we are loading in and out. So I will work on an alternate table base and share it with you as soon as it's done.
Time has been sneaking up on me, but I'm almost done with this months book nook. I had hoped to have it done before we leave Wednesday night but it's going to be a release for middle of next week instead. I had a vision, and that vision became more involved and complicated the more I sculpted, but I love how it's coming together. There is a lot more detail I want to add to it like snake skin texture, removable parts for less color change and I'm planning on two versions. One with the skull and one without. So I'm sorry for the delay, but I think it will be worth the wait. I'm obsessed already. Here is a little peek look so far.
