I cannot believe it's been almost a half a year since I started this already. That's insane. I'm so thankful, it's been the most fun I've had since I started designing.
I wanted to make a quick post about some things I will be changing here in June. Price will stay the same. I don't plan to change that. I am however going to work on getting caught up on listing my files on cults etc... and the reason for that is I will be implementing a welcome package.
By the end of June, my files will be available for the time they are exclusive and then removed from Patreon, but still available to purchase. Aside from the welcome package that will stay available to all new members. I'll set up a discount codes like other designers do. I honestly never thought my page would get to the point I'd even need to think about that, but lately I've had a lot of join today, download everything and then cancel same or next day, members. And I get it. I haven't had the time to update my files on to any other platforms. So some people may just want a specific file they cannot purchase yet, but it's not fair to those of you who have been here since the beginning that my whole catalog is immediately available to whoever joins for a day. I will keep you posted as I make these changes. We only have one convention this month, so I'll be working hard to get all of this done.
My daughter just graduated HS so she will be joining my payroll. This is going to free up more time for me to focus designing and working on this Patreon. She will be getting a crash course in support removal. Lucky her! lol. I'm so excited. I plan to make a few pinned posts, one with a form for requests, an FAQ's post and a pinned download pages for active files available. I've had some complaints about my files being hard to find now that there are so many, so I'd like to stream line it a bit better for everyone. This whole patreon thing is still feels new to me.. I subscribe to many other designers that I respect and look up to, so I'll be implementing some of the ways they run theirs into how I continue to set up mine.
I'd also like to start sharing some beginner sculpting videos because I've had some of you interested in that. That will be for all members. I recently set up a YouTube page for Create Fantasy Crafts so I can easily upload my videos there. That's a project I'll be working on getting to.
With more design time I'd like to start throwing in more models that aren't just bookish. I have a lot of other interests aside from reading. We are obsessed with Halloween and Horror around here. And there are models that just aren't out there for obscure characters my husband loves. I'm also a gamer. I don't have much time to game, but I love the old RPG's I grew up with, specifically Final Fantasy, so there are a few things I've been dying to make from that. Don't worry, I will still be adding plenty of bookish stuff, these other models will be extra things I'd like to take to shows with us but plan to share.
