I have been wanting to make this for so long. Since back before I had the skill level. Something reminded me about it recently, so I gave it a go.
If you are a fan of Throne of Glass like I am, you know what this symbolizes. It can symbolize many things to different readers, but to us fans, it means something more. It's one of those, IYKYK pieces that is general enough to be just pretty shelf decor.
This is a single color print. The heart and flames print separately. Heart sits right in the flames. You can glue in place if you like, but it rests nicely in it so it doesn't need to be attached if you don't want . I thought about making this into a book insert as well, if anyone is interested in that, just let me know.
Printer Settings...
.20 Layer Height
Very minimal slim tree support for the flame. Just one little tree sprout for the side flame.
Small Brim on the heart. I don't know if that even needs to be there, but I put it just in case because the bottom that touches the build plate is small.
Color used. Amolen Red gold gradient Brighter version, and Polymaker Lava Red
I only printed one of these for testing purposes, but the Amolen Red Gold gradient is what I use for Crafty Kids Lahabah print and it's beautiful, so I just know these flames are going to look amazing when I print a tray and get some transition.
My Creative Process
I design all of my models from scratch. I mostly use Nomad Sculpt and occasionally Tinkercad for simple things. I do not use Generative AI in any of my design process. Check out my socials and other posts on here for sculpt and process videos. 😊
