DESCRIPTION
Initially, conquests invariably bring about suffering and devastation. For the women taken captive, the obliteration of their familiar world and the tragic loss of loved ones were overwhelming shocks. Yet, as time passed, they began to perceive that this upheaval served a higher purpose: their children would not carry the traits of the vanquished, but rather those of formidable warriors. Their lineage would transition from being the conquered to becoming the conquerors.
