Yeah, I am still co-writing with others.
I managed to co-write with a great guy from a fanfic that has way higher favs and follows than me, and I am kinda sure some of you guys follow this fic here.

The guy there posted the latest chapter I have worked very hard on with, and I gotta say that I am not about the major hate the readers have on my characters, however.
I made a lot of OCs in that chapter, the trio that tried to hunt down Shirou and the guy that ruined Shirou's perfect killstreak. I poured a lot of soul into those guys, fleshed out their character and stuff, but I gotta ask what you guys think of the writing there in chapter 11.
Is the hate justified? A large part of me says no because most of the hate is from the readers that are too into Fate and have no idea about the intricacies of Overlord in general. The MC there is at max level, level 100, and in YGGDRASIL, there is no such player that is supposed to have an advantage in that game nor could they handle other max level players easily, unless that player is a World Champion. Shirou is no World Champion.
I get it that Shirou had experience, but the mechanics of YGGDRASIL, the classes and variety of skills is different compared to the usual magics of the Fate universe. They are kinda similar, but YGGDRASIL is a different beast in itself with Players that can take on even Shirou from Fate. I am not as engrossed in the Fate series as others since the lore of Nasuverse is... too big for me to swallow and digest and I have no idea where to start actually learning why the hell are the readers so adamant in making Shirou OP in a world which got me writing in the first place.
Basically, this is just me writing out my shock hearing that readers don't like my writing for the first time so I want some professional opinions, unbiased on the matter to help me settle my thoughts. What do you guys think, anyways?
