DESCRIPTION
I'm just gonna post this like there hasn't been a two year gap in the conversation: the Next Town Over Volume 3 wraparound cover might get a few more tweaks but I think this is mostly It. It's both a continuation of and a break from what I was doing with the previous two ... as well as a nod to one of the first ever Next Town Over drawings I ever did. Nearly ... 💀 ... 18 years ago. The file name of the super old drawing, which I'm including here for comparison (along with the previous covers), is, hilariously, titled "overdue_goodbye" in one of my life's greatest flares of prescience.
(And, yes, the subtitle of Volume 3 is "One More Magic Trick.")
