Bonus Appendix Posts from the EdMASTER

We shared these on Twitter, but the Admiral was good enough to write not one, but TWO posts over at his blog with some additional notes on the content of the latest episode.

The first one collects some info on World Commerce Corporation, Tourism, and Jamaica development 

The second one covers a subplot we touched upon in the episode, involving Ruark and the Safari Club. Really incredible background here. Edman went down the Ruark rabbit hole, who traded in tales of hyperbolic masculinity, big game hunting, Mediterranean beaches, and shady associations with OSS veterans, fugitive Nazis, and hanging with Ernest Hemingway at bullfights. I found these Ruark columns especially funny because of how perfectly they prefigure a lot of the nauseating "monosphere" writing of the 2010s. 

Give the Admiral a salute for these, really great stuff where you can see some of the research we're doing more closely for yourself and get a view of the documents and clippings and photos that we spend so much time digging through.
